Panama, who is in fourth place within the group, is facing off against Costa Rica after a 1-0 loss against the United States where striker Jozy Altidore scored the game-winning goal.

Costa Rica, ranked second, captured the attention of soccer fans across the world with their 0-0 draw against Mexico last week as a visiting team - Mexico has only tied a handful of times while playing at home.

Panama's squad currently has six points while Costa Rica has eight. They also have five goals in their favor and five goals working against them while the Ticos have five goals in their favor with only three working against them.

Costa Rica has not lost any of its last four matches and is slated to be one of the North American, Central American and Caribbean region's (CONCACAF) World Cup 2014 qualifying teams.

Panama is continuing to battle for a fourth place position within the CONCACAF qualifying group for eligibility to play an alternate match against New Zealand for placement in the World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Costa Rica has qualified for the World Cup three times and is backed by star striker Bryan Ruiz who plays for Fulham F.C. in England.

Panama is backed by national team veterans Blas Pérez and Felipe Baloy, who have both led the team to victory in previous World Cup 2014 qualifying matches.
