TMZ reports that according to his ex-wife Tawanna Iverson, former professional basketball player Allen Iverson has kidnapped his own children.

The scorned ex-wife and mother recently filed legal documents that stated Iverson requested the privledge to take their five kids, ranging from 3 to 16 years old, on a quick trip to Charlotte, NC.  Tawanna agreed for the vacation dates to be from May 22nd to May 26th.  However, when May 26th came and went, the children had yet to return.

From what the documents read, Tawanna tried to schedule an exchange of the kids with Iverson on June 4th at a Target in proximity to a neutral location.  Despite his ex-wife's attempt to be civil, A.I. stood her up and the kids were no where in sight.

Now Tawanna has reason to believe Allen never went to Charlotte with the kids.  Instead she thinks he has them in a Sheraton hotel in Georgia.  Due to Allen's drinking problem, Tawanna is worried about her children's well being.

She wants the court to demand he return the kids and enforce punishment upon the former baller.  Tawanna would be happy to see him behind bars for his misbehavior.

Plus, this is not the first time Tawanna requested he be placed in jail.  Earlier this month she urged the court to have her ex-husband thrown in the slammer for allegedly not paying over $40,000 in child support. 

Tawanna has sole legal and primary physical custody of their children.
