Kim Kardashian gave birth to her baby daughter between three and five weeks earlier than expected, but she's still found time to reach out to some while others wonder about the media silence. Plus, Kanye West is in love.

Kanye West rushed back to Cedars Senai Center from his European promotion for Yeezus and just made it to the delivery room in time to see his "widdle" daughter born at 5 lbs. despite coming prematurely.

People Magazine reports that a source inside the Kardashian clan said the baby is "doing well," despite a media blackout surrounding the birth.

The source went on to add the baby daughter is "the prettiest, tiniest thing with a full head of straight, dark hair, a cute little nose and Kim's lips."

Though the daughter, whose name will start with a K, and who Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have reportedly already named, but it hasn't been released yet, spent some time in an incubator to regulate her body temperature.

This is standard operating procedure for a premature birth, but she appears to have responded well, and the "Kimye" couple are head over heels about the new addition to the family.

Despite a source telling People that Kim is "being very protective of the baby and she says there is no official name," another source adds that they've decided on a name, but haven't released it to the public yet.

This last point continues their decision to shroud the baby in an insulated atmosphere, where the normally publicity hungry Kardashian's and Jenner's have failed to provide many specifics about the baby moving forward.

Miranda Banks, an assistant professor at the School of Visual and Media Arts, spoke with the Detroit Free Press about the media blackout and why it has some fans of the Kardashians and Kanye West, worried about the health of the baby girl who is still less than a week old.

Said Banks, "Everyone has looked at Kim Kardashian's body and examined it top to bottom and made enormous speculations constantly about what is going on with and to her. Since we haven't heard anything for a few days, everyone is in a panic."

Banks went on to add "It's only been a few days. But given how obsessed she is with performing for the cameras and talking to her fans, this lack of communication feels like an insult to her fans. It's weird we haven't gotten a picture of mom and baby. So we wonder if something is wrong."

Banks thinks the premature birth is the reason for the media black-out and we'll just have to give it time.

"This change in behavior is surprising. You hope they're focused on the health of the baby, as opposed to her relationship with the media. She wasn't supposed to give birth the same week as Kanye's album came out. I'm guessing they're renegotiating things."
