Spain Vs. Tahiti Confederations Cup 2013: Preview, Score, Highlights And Free Online Live Stream [WATCH HERE]

Spain will face off against Tahiti in a Confederations Cup 2013 match on Thursday, where the Oceania champions hope to make a dent in the European team's defense.

But even Tahiti's coach, Eddy Etaeta, admitted the difficulty involved with playing the number-one-ranked team in the world.

He says it's "impossible" his team of amateurs will defeat World Cup champion Spain on Thursday in the Confederations Cup, the Associated Press reports.

Tahiti's coach also told the Associated Press Spain could score 15 or 20 goals against his South Pacific islanders at Rio's Maracana stadium, even though Spanish coach Vicente del Bosque promised to use reserve players and rest captain and goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

"We are highly realistic," Etaeta said.

"It's impossible for us to win against Spain. Our objective it to try to score, or not to be scored against, for half an hour. But maybe we can score one goal and against Spain, even if it's 15 or 20 against one. It's impossible, yes quite impossible."

Although Tahiti is quick to admit an early defeat, Spain says it will not hold back from playing regularly.

Andres Iniesta, an FC Barcelona midfielder, and Vicente del Bosque, Spain's national coach, both told the Associated Press holding back would show a lack of respect for Tahiti.

Marama Vahirua, the only professional player on Tahiti's squad who plays outside of the island, is the team's main striker.
