Sailor Moon Reboot [VIDEO]: New 2013 Merchandise Include Mercury Figure, Rings, And Tapestry, Manga Re-Release Continues In USA

As fans of Sailor Moon continue to wait for the delayed anime reboot, there certainly seems to be an influx of merchandise for the franchise, perhaps due to its 20th anniversary special occasion.

Following the already announced Sailor Moon toy figures to be crafted by S.H. Figuarts, the figure for Sailor Mercury has been unveiled.

S.H. Figuarts, a subsidiary of Bandi Co., Ltd, is a Japanese toy making and video game company that features iconic Japanese animated series such as "Dragon Ball" and "Kamen Rider Blade."

You can especially see the company's craftsmanship in the Sailor Mercury figure, which comes with detachable parts to create multiple iconic poses of the character.

Check out some pictures of the blue-haired figure here.

The figures are slated for an October (November in the U.S.) release for 4,410 yen ($44 USA), and it is presumed the remaining figures for Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus will be unveiled in the coming months.

But that's not all. In addition to the cosmetic line based off of the popular Japanese series, several types of brooches and rings have become available online that are based off of the activation device Sailor Moon famously uses.

The accessories come in silver and gold, and are available for preorder at Bandai's official website here.

And yes, they've even got Sailor Moon towels and tapestries for sale!

So does this mean American fans will have to wait before any Sailor Moon goodies arrive on our shores?

Fortunately, the re-release of the manga series is still going strong.

Published by Kodansha Comics, volume 4 featuring Sailor Jupiter on the cover was just released last month.

Hopefully this is all a sign that the imminent reboot will appear sometime this year.
