2NE1's member CL shocked many with her education.

In SBS entertainment program "Hwasin - Controller of the Heart" aired yesterday, CL came out as one of the guests.

She was asked, "I heard you passed the GED for elementary, middle, and high school within a year and a half" and she replied, "I attended a foreigner school when I was young and my dad pursued free education style. I didn't get education for Korean until high school."

They also asked her, "How do you communicate with your family?" and she replied, "We just talk naturally in Korean but I never received official education for the language Korean."

She continued, "If I look back now, it was very free. I used to think, 'I want to live normally like everyone else,' and it was something I hated about my life. My dad didn't get mad at me even if I didn't do my homework. He said, 'This is for you so if you don't do it, you're responsible for it,' and that's all he did. That in turn became the motivation for me so I think I studied harder."
