Baek Ji Young suffers a miscarriage of her first child with husband Jung Suk Won.

In the morning of June 27th, it was announced that unforeseen conditions has brought on the miscarriage.  The two were wed in a star-studded yet simple ceremony on June 2nd.  They announced the pregnancy in the middle of May, and asked for everyone's well wishes for the couple.

The couple had postponed their honeymoon due to Baek Ji Young's delicate pregnancy.  They were supposed to set off on their honeymoon in July.   The singer was looking forward to their child's birth having said, "I am filled with new wonder and joy for life, and a deep sense of responsibility."

At the moment, Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won are filled with grief at their sudden loss.
