Gena Charmaine Avery is Matthew Knowles new wife after a ceremony this weekend.  Matthew Knowles is the father and former manager of Beyonce Knowles, now married to "Jay Z" Sean Carter.  He is also the father of Solange Knowles, another musical talent.

According to the Hollywood Gossip.com, Matthew Knowles got married to former model Gena Charmaine Avery on Sunday, June 30 in Houston, Tex., after a year and a half engagement.  Neither of his famous daughters Beyonce or Solange Knowles were present, due to "previous engagements which made it impossible".  Perhaps Beyonce was busy with daughter Blue Ivy, or with promoting her husband Jay-Z's album Magna Carta Holy Grail, which hits stores this Monday July 8.

Matthew Knowles divorced the mother of Beyonce and Solange Knowles, Tina Knowles, in 2011 after 31 years of marriage.
