Katy Perry John Mayer Break Up Tour 2013; Mayer Dedicates Closing Song ` A Face To Call Home’ to 'Incredible' Katy (Video)

Katy Perry John Mayer Breakup Tour 2013 opened two nights ago at Milwaukee’s Marcus Amphitheatre and the show closed with John Mayer dedicating the last song to Katy Perry. Rumors of their breakup have been exaggerated as John Mayer very publicly declared his love for Katy Perry when he dedicated a song to her during the first stop of his "Born and Raised" tour in Wisconsin.

Katy Perry and John Mayer are back together as the blues singer started his first tour in three years. Katy Perry’s boyfriend hasn’t headlined a show since he went under the knife for a granuloma in his throat last August. The guitarist played Milwaukee’s Marcus Amphitheatre on July 6 to kick as part of the annual Brew City music festival Summerfest. Katy Perry’s bluesy boyfriend played two warm-up shows in April.

E! News said that Mayer mentions the California girl ever time the subject of his surgery comes up. Maybe it was the anesthesia, but he told the crowd, "She would order [food] for me... and she would tell people, 'it's nice to meet you.' When I was in Montana ... with bad service ... She was so patient as to continue to get to know me and love me."

Mayer dedicated the closing song of the evening, "A Face To Call Home," to "Katy, who is my face to call home."

Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up for the second time in March. But their romance was back on track after they spent a romantic Memorial Day together. They spent July 4 wrapped together in stars and stripes at the Philly 4th of July Jam Concert.

John Mayer’s tour will roll into Cincinnati tomorrow when he headlines at the Riverbend Music Center.
