With Pokemon X and Pokemon Y to be released October 12 worldwide for the 3DS, five new Pokemon have been released in addition to the 21 we've met so far for the Kalos Pokedex.

After unveiling the panda Pokemon Pancha, its evolution has been unveiled with the Japanese name Goronda, a Fighting/Dark Pokemon with "a warm heart."

Meet the "Rotate Pokemon" Maaiika, who is a Dark/Psychic dual type that looks like a squid. Its evolution is Kalamenero, which has the ability to flip the stats of its opponent.

Peroppuff is a "Cotton Candy Pokemon" that looks like...well, a cotton candy. It is one of the new fairy-type Pokemon and is a Pokemon X exclusive.

Last but not least is Shushuppu, which seems like the Pokemon Y exclusive that balances out Peroppuff. Shushuppu is also a fairy-type Pokemon, and uses perfume type moves.

Some speculation on this batch of new Kalos Pokedex newcomers:

Pancham's evolution is rumored to be obtained in a special. Some have suggested that the trainer needs a dark-type Pokemon in its team.

Notice how many new moves and abilities are being introduced this type around. Pokemon X and Y may be the biggest overhaul we've seen of the franchise, ever.
