Since Mojang revealed that the Minecon 2013 location is going to be in Orlando, Florida from November 2 to 3, the indie game developer has not been releasing new details yet about the highly-anticipated 3^rd all-things Minecraft event. But there are new rumors flying around online about Minecon 2013 location and ticket sales, as well as the highly interesting, Minecon 2013 cape.

For one, it is believed that the specific Minecon 2013 location will be in Orange County Convention Center, as it was seen in its initial listing from its calendar of events that Minecon 2013 is already booked at West Building for November 2-3, Saturday and Sunday.

However, that listing was apparently removed perhaps because it was causing server issues to the site or Mojang just simply asked OCCC to take away Minecon from the listing as they want it to keep as a top secret. You can learn more details about the OCCC initial calendar listing here.

During the announcement of Minecon 2013 location, Mojang also said that ticket sales will start this July and hotel packages will be offered to interested attendees. Moreover, it is rumored that there will be 7000 Minecon 2013 tickets to be sold for the event as the OCCC venue have that capacity to hold that number of attendees.

A lot of Minecraft fans are also excited about the Minecon 2013 cape, if ever Mojang will be giving them to attendees of the event. The Wiki page for Minecon reads, "Even though there is high assumption of a Minecon Cape reward for people who will be attending the Minecon 2013 event, Mojang is yet to confirm if there is a cape and what its design will be."

We are already in the second week of July, meaning, it would not be long until Mojang reveal further details about Minecon 2013 location and ticket sales. And yes, perhaps, also give a confirmation about the much-loved Minecon 2013 cape.
