Pokemon X And Y Fan Art Appreciation And How They Help Nintendo Look To The Future

Like most online communities, Pokemon fans have amped up their activity due to the upcoming release of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y for the 3DS, and one thing that is particularly impressive is the fan art that have come from talented artists. Fan art, outside of being fun to create, is one way Pokemon X and Y build buzz on the Internet. The latest example is the mysterious tree Pokemon being featured in trailer attached to the Pokemon movie "ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens." Without an official image, fans who saw the film have created their own renditions of the Pokemon, to some terrific results. Just take a look at two of them in the slideshow! But fan art is also a way to make Pokemon X and Y as majestic as possible. Every time a new Pokemon is introduced, awesome fan art is created to celebrate the newcomer. It is a sincere way for fans to show their appreciation. And lastly, fan art could also be prophetic of the future. While it has taken Game Freak over a decade to move Pokemon into the 3D world, Pokemon X and Y might continue progressing the graphical and visual details until we finally get something as epic as this. Fan art is a sign that Pokemon can continue to move towards advanced visual gaming, and all the evidence Nintendo needs is what they are creating themselves.
