JYJ 'The Day' Premier Cancelled

The premier of JYJ's 'The Day' documentary-movie was suddenly cancelled due to contract issues.

CJ Entertainment announced on the official homepage that "the movie premier has unfortunately been canceled. We're sorry to all the fans for being unable to deliver the promised premier."

"The Day" was supposed to be a fan service for Valentines and was expected to be premiered on the 29th at theatres all across the Korean.

Because the docu-movie showed the every day lives of JYJ, it was greatly anticipated to show the natural sides of the group.

However, CGV which was supposed to host the movie suddenly announced contractual termination due to "not being passed by the final decision maker."

In addition, CGV announced that "the bureaucratic process for passing on information to higher ups according to protocol was not properly done and therefore doesn't mean that we wont show it all."

In short, just a mistake.

But to JYJ and CJ entertainment it was "CGV using the fact that they are on the upper hand as distributers to break a contractual agreement."
