Official Kingdom Heart 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date is not yet announced but a lot of updates and news about the upcoming Square Enix RPG are currently flying aroung the gaming world.

Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One and PS4 versions were confirmed during E3 2013, saying that the game is already in the works. However, there is no specific Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date yet confirmed by either its game developer, Square Enix or its publisher, Disney Interactive.

This is also the first time for a Kingdom Hearts title to be featured on a Microsoft gaming platform which is the forthcoming Xbox One. Unlike Microsoft, older Kingdom Hearts game titles have already been released for Sony and Nintendo platforms.

While still keeping mum about Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date, the game director, Tetsuya Nomura, explained why the soon-to-be available game is not arriving to Sony's current generation of game console, the PlayStation 3. The Examiner reported that the original plan is to create the sequel for the PS3. However, as the post reads, "By the time they were ready to implement some of the ideas they were planning for the action role-playing game, however, the PS4 and Xbox One were already on the horizon. They ultimately decided to develop "Kingdom Hearts 3" on the next-generation systems due to the extra power."

New character details about Kingdom Hearts 3's protagonist have also been revealead. Sora, the main character for Kingdom Hearts 3, Xbox One and PS4 versions is going to be exhibit more maturity in the sequel as compared to the previous instalments of Square Enix' series. Sora will need to "search for the seven guardians of light in order to prepare for the Keyblade War against Master Xehanort."

Furthermore, there will be additional playable characters to be included in Kingdom Hearts 3 for Xbox One and Sony PS4.

Although there is no official Kingdom Hearts 3 Xbox One, PS4 release date yet, the title is already available for pre-order. Also, interested gamers can now pre-order the upcoming gaming consoles, Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, which are expected to arrive before this year ends.
