Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Promo Poster Accidentally Reveals The Chief Webber's Fate: September 26 Premiere Date Confirmed

Well, so much for guessing. Thanks to a recent "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 promo poster, we can definitely see that Chief Webber, despite a heavy dose of electrocution, is alive and well.

Posted on Facebook and other websites as a way of unveiling the September 26 season premiere date, the season 10 poster featuring the cast also has the Chief front and center, right next to Meredith, Derek, and Cristina.

As many fans remember, season 9 left the Chief's (James Pickens, Jr.) fate up in the air, after being electrocuted thanks to a hurricane and basement flooding.

Fortunately, it seems the Chief is safe, at least for the time being and the 200th episode.

As previously reported, "Grey's Anatomy" begins officially filming today after a table read earlier.

In addition, according to TVLine's Matt Mitovich, the season 10 premiere could be a two-hour premiere.

"It appears that things refuse to remain sleepy in Shonda Rhimes' Seattle, seeing as the season 10 opener will involve a group of firefighters," writes Mitovich.

"There may also be a bit of a 'two-parter' feel to the ABC drama's return -heck, maybe it will even turn out to be an actual two-hour premiere a la Seasons 5, 6 and 8 - since several of the guest-starring roles, including one fireman's fiancé, will span two episodes."

Be sure to check the season 10 premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" Thursday September 26.
