Popular Idol Groups Filming MV in the U.S., 'New Trend?'

Popular idol groups INFINITE and B.A.P have made a comeback with a large scale music video.

Both groups have traveled overseas to film a fancy and different style of music video for their comebacks.

On July 16, INFINITE made their comeback with their new song, "Destiny" and gained much attention for their music video. Their music video was filmed in the U.S. and was filmed in 10 days back in May.

They filmed at the Universal Studios and is the first Korean group to be able to film there. The group showed off their perfect choreography and charisma while filming the video. The amazing background views added to the video quality as well.

On the other hand, B.A.P released their new song, "Hurricane" on July 18. Their music video was filmed in Las Vegas and was guarded by police and body guards during their photo shoot.

They showed off a more luxurious and sophisticated image with their new song as they wore crisp white suits.

Both music videos were shot by director Hong Won Ki. He stated, "INFINITE's 'Destiny' music video was the largest scale video ever shot for an idol group. They will surely succeed overseas as they will also be starting their world tour soon."

A B.A.P official stated, "We filmed their video in Las Vegas downtown and wanted to create a luxurious and fancy feel. We hope that this video will appeal overseas as well."
