Saints Row 4 Release Date: Enter The Dominatrix DLC Available October 4, Presents Behind-The-Scenes Documentary

Saints Row 4 developer Deep Silver Volition revealed during a Comic-Con panel last weekend that the first post-launch add-on for the game will be called 'Enter the Dominatrix' and will be released October 4, featuring a behind the scenes documentary.
The game's characters will explain why the content of the add-on was cut from the final game, GamingBlend reports.

The DLC was originally intended for Saints Row: The Third after it was announced last Spring.
The expansion depicted an alien invasion of Steelport. To neutralize the Third Street Saints as a threat, the aliens trapped the gang inside a virtual-reality version of Steelport - the titular "Dominatrix." Because the Dominatrix is a virtual world, the Saints are able to bend the rules and perform superhuman feats, GamingBlend also writes.
But DLCs aren't the only preparations Deep Silver Volition has made for the release of Saints Row 4.
The game's developer teamed up with several online media companies to launch SaintsGOV.com, a government website for the Saints.
"While on the website, people can participate in polls to vote for specific laws such as clothing optional supermarkets or amusement parks where the admission fee depends on the weight of your clothing," Gameranx writes.
"Once you vote for your desired laws, you can register guns of all kind. For a classic appeal, the Deacon 12-Guage shotgun will service your simple needs. For those feeling a little thin, the Infalto-ray will inflate any targets the gun hits. Perfect for parties, the Dubstep Gun will shoot more dubstep than humanly consumable."
Saints Row 4 is infused with capabilities that allow users to kill enemies in the game using tactics unheard of before, including aiming a weapon at someone that will eventually make their head explode.
Volition will release the game on August 20 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. The developer has not announced changes for next-generation consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
