B.A.P Show Up In New One Direction MV - Are The Brits Showing Their Love Or Hate?

On July 22 UK boy band One Direction released their new music video for "Best Song Ever" and K-Pop hip-hop sextet B.A.P made a surprise "appearance."

In the beginning of the video, the lads are being shown a series of potential concepts for their new song. One image they are shown is the B.A.P "Warrior" promo photo, only the One Direction members' faces had been photoshopped on the bodies instead and the outfits had been changed to a magenta color rather than red.

The poses are identical and all five members are shown with bleach blonde hair. Zelo had also been edited out on the far right due to a difference in member numbers, but the representation is unmistakeable.

The video has gained attention from B.A.P fans (Babyz) around the world, just hours after its official release.

In the unending battle between boy band fans, Babyz are upset saying One Direction "dissed" B.A.P and showed aggression towards the K-Pop group when they destroyed the picture board.

However, it was not just the B.A.P concept that the One Direction guys found so unappealing. They were also pasted into images of other famous male pop groups such as N'SYNC, the Backstreet Boys, and the Village People.

At the very least, "The Best Song Ever" video serves as free overseas marketing for B.A.P. Interested One Direction fans will undoubtedly search for what groups were represented in the picture boards.

The curious thing, that has yet to be explained, is why B.A.P were shown at all? Of any other K-Pop group - why did the director (or One Direction themselves?) choose B.A.P?

There has been speculation online that the One Direction guys are fans of the K-Pop group - which would not be all that surprising considering they have mentioned other Korean idols in the past and have a penchant for busting into "Gangnam Style" on whim.

What do you think? Is One Direction turning their noses up at B.A.P, or are they showing the K-Pop love?
