As recently as February, the National Enquirer published a piece on Robin Roberts Breakup with Storm Sahara. While Roberts was making her triumphant return to Good Morning America following a battle with myelodysplastic syndrome, the anchor was still healing from a broken heart after parting ways with Storm Sahara who apparently didn't like being in the spotlight.
A source told the National Enquirer: "She realized over the course of her illness how much she truly loved Storm and vowed that if she made it through, she would not only rekindle their love - but she would ask Storm to marry her."
A March sighting by MediaTakeOut of Storm Sahara and Robin Roberts picking up a marriage certificate gives credence to the rumors; however, there are no photos of Storm Sahara and Robin Roberts to confirm this. Gay marriage is now legal, enabling the couple to take the next step in their relationship.
Robin Roberts recently appeared on Katie and received the ESPY Award for Courage, but she has yet to mention her relationship with Storm Sahara.
