Girl group Girl's Day Minah's Korean national anthem is being compared to Sohyang's from last year.

Yesterday, Minah sang the Korean national anthem for '2013 East Asia Cup Championship.' Minah came out in an all-black formal outfit, put her left hand on her heart, and sang the Korean national anthem.

Internet users flooded the internet as Minah's name was spelled wrong when she was introduced. But they soon started criticizing Minah's singing, comparing it to Sohyang singing it during a baseball game last year.

Sohyang, who made herself known through MBC 'I Am a Singer,' sang the anthem in 4 different octaves, bringing screams and applause from everyone in the audience seat.

Compared to her, Minah sang the anthem in a neat voice, not adding any notes on her own. Her voice seemed a little shaky due to nervousness but she was able to calmly finish the song.

Some internet users made comparisons between Minah and Sohyang, saying, "Minah's was innocent and Sohyang's was mature," "Minah's was soft and Sohyang's was full of energy," but others criticized those comparing, saying, "You shouldn't compare the two," "I don't understand why people are randomly comparing the two," etc.
