Pokemon X And Y Legendaries Rumors: Third Legendary Types And Location Leaked?

The infamous leaker has done it again, this time revealing potential spoilers regarding the Pokemon X and Y legendaries, including the third legendary types and location.

According to this leaker at Pokejungle, in addition to Yveltal and Xerneas, there is a third legendary Pokemon which is a Poison/Rock dual-type snake.

As previous reported, the rumors are that in addition to being inspired by France, Game Freak is using the Norse mythology of Yggdrasil, although it is certainly not the only theory regarding X and Y.

"In Norse mythology, the Tree of the World, Yggdrasil, is located at the center of the universe and holds the nine worlds together through its roots," writes Zelda Informer contributor Colin McIsaac.

"While X, Y, and Z represent the three axes on a 3D plane, they also represent the three encompassing realms held by Yggdrasil: Asgard, Midgard, and Niflheim. Most importantly, each of the three encompassing realms is represented by a different animal."

McIsaac goes to explain that Asgard is located at the top of Yggdrasil and home to the divine eagle (Yveltal). Midgard is home to the stags with branch-shaped horns (Xerneas).

More interestingly, the roots of Yggdrasil is said to house a serpent-like dragon Niohoggr, trapped by the roots from the rest of the Yggdrasil.

Within Kalos, the leaker affirms that Yveltal and Xerneas are encountered at the Carnac Stones, while the third of the legendaries is located in the Mountain cover by clouds.

In addition, the leaker reveals a little about the story behind these three legendaries within Pokemon X and Y.

"Xerneas and Yveltal keep each other in balance. Without Yveltal, Xerneas powers of restoration would be too great and Kalos would uninhabitable due to the vast growth. With Xerneas, Yveltal would destroy Kalos. They are highly valuable and sought after by Team Flare."

As such, the Poison/Rock legendary is called the "corruption Pokemon," and is "all about undoing the balance between Xerneas and Yveltal.

Unfortunately, the leaker has not posted any images as he/she affirms Pokemon X and Y are no longer in his/her possession for testing.

[UPDATE]: The leaker has admitted to falsifying these leaks in his/her blog post here.

Hopefully the next CoroCoro will illuminate whether this leaker is real or not, especially with the legendaries.
