Korean Band Ulala Session Fondly Remembers Former Leader Lim Yoon Taek

Ulala Session will never be the same without their beloved leader Lim Yoon Taek, he is the strength of the group even after his death.

Last February 11, 2013, Lim Yoon Taek succumbed to his battle against Stage 4 of stomach cancer.

On a recent episode of 'Human Documentary' on July 27th, the group paid tribute to Lim Yoon Taek's memories. Goon Jo, one of Ulala Session members said, "Lim Yoon Taek was a leader who listened to the members' opinions and took charge. When we went out, he would say, 'Follow Me,' with his charisma."

While Seung Il also reminisced how  Lim Yoon Taek acted as their leader stating, "When the members feel lonely, we feel his empty spot the most. We wonder what Yoon Taek hyung would have done [in our situation]. When we disagree on and discuss issues, we wonder what decision Yoon Taek hyung would have made... I think that he gave us an opportunity to pursue music as he left. Thank you."

Lastly, Kwang Sun also shared his feelings about the group without Lim Yoon Taek, "Now that there's only four of us, maybe there is something we need to try again. But it's okay. We will continue to work hard, and even if we don't do well, people will remember Yoon Taek hyung. The will of the four of us is the same. We hope that no one forgets Yoon Taek hyung forever."

I do understand the group's sentiment, losing someone you really love is indeed sad and painful. But I'm sure Lim Yoon Taek is in a happy place right now and proud of his members who are doing a great job trying their best to move forward.
