Believe us now? Good. Go ahead and buy tickets if you haven't done so yet. Because from here on out, tickets are going to be endangered species. While VIP1 tickets are already sold out, other tiers are still available at time of writing but not expected to stay that way after this mega announcement. Check the KCON 2013 official website for ticket details: www.kconusa.com.
MNET America proves that this event is the concert of the year, with a line-up filled with big names and explosive rising stars in K-pop. You know you've got a gem of an event in your hands when the Big 3 entertainment companies all send at least one artist, and with G-Dragon's addition, YG Entertainment just put in one of their biggest chips into the game to represent the fam.
Big Bang leader G-Dragon just recently finished his first solo world tour, without making a US stop and fans wondered whether he will perform Stateside anytime soon. The silence is broken, as G-Dragon will be coming to KCON. Impressing fans across Asia with world-class and extravagant stages, KCON 2013 attendees will get to have their turn to be amazed as the talented singer, rapper, dancer and music producer brings his best.
This announcement comes on the heels of YG Entertainment's two big announcements in the last 48 hours, with Seungri's comeback and 2NE1's second title song with an MV set to a home video. It sounds like YG Entertainment has lots of aces up their sleeves lately, it's hard to keep up.
Previously, YG Entertainment announced G-Dragon's solo comeback to be released digitally on August 14th, with expected comeback stages on TV scheduled for the 18th. G-Dragon is also expected to do a solo concert in Seoul August 31st and September 1st. While the recent big YG Entertainment announcements may set these original dates off, the inclusion of G-Dragon in the KCON 2013 line-up can only hint to great things we can only anticipate to hear about.
Is G-Dragon the final artist to join this already powerful cast? MNET America has not yet confirmed the final set of artists, making it possible to be hearing about more exciting news!
