Actor Park Shi Hoo has written a letter thanking his fans for believing in him during the last six difficult months.

His problems began in February, when a trainee actress known only as "A" charged him with assault for relations he claimed were consensual. She dropped her charges in May but the last of the related lawsuits was only resolved in July. The actor has maintained his innocence and he is so grateful that so many fans remained loyal.

The actor tried to sum up how he felt in a letter posted on his fan café and titled "2AM in America."

"My pen feels heavy as I try to express my complicated feelings in a letter," wrote the actor, who starred in the dramas "Prosecutor Princess," "The Princess' Man," and "Cheomdamdung Alice."
