Nicki Minaj Boyfriend Ain't DJ Khaled: "Let It Go, He Was Kidding," She Said About Marriage Proposal
Recently Nicki Minaj took to the Funkmaster Flex radio show to confirm the marriage proposal from DJ Khaled was only a joke and they are far from boyfriend and girlfriend.
The female MC explained that people who truly know her took the proposal all in good fun.
"Nobody in my real life took it seriously," said Minaj. "Everybody just hit me like, 'LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy.'"
In fact, the Barbz queen claimed to be just as surprised as everyone else when DJ Khaled pulled the whole proposal stunt on MTV News.
"I was shocked just like the rest of the world," Minaj told Funkmaster Flex. "And I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world, because Khaled is a master at what he does."
The "High School" lyricist added that she has not spoken to her Khaled since his viral proposal.

Nicki wanted to stress that the two of them are not just friends but more like family.
"Khaled is my brother, and Khaled was not serious with that d*** proposal, ya'll," said Minaj. "Please let it go. He was kidding. He's not attracted to me. He doesn't like me. We're brother and sister."
With the DJ's album soon to drop and Minaj collaborating on the project, it makes sense to wonder whether this whole proposal thing is a publicity stunt. Yesterday DJ Khaled promoted his single "I Wanna Be With You" via Twitter that features Nicki Minaj and other big time rappers.
