The term wardrobe malfunction first came into the lexicon after Janet Jackson's superbowl performance, in which fellow singer Justin Timberlake ripped off a part of her costume to accidentally reveal part of her breast.
Other famous celebrity wardrobe malfunctions and exposures include Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan.
The prevalence of the paparazzi contributes to the wardrobe malfunction phenomenon. Paparazzi are primed to take pictures when young starlets wearing short skirts get out of cars. This inevitably can result in some exposure.
The trend for ultra-short shorts also makes wardrobe malfunctions possible. Currently the trendiest short length is as short as possible, making the bottom of the butt visible.
Many viewers wish to see the photos of young celebrity wardrobe malfunctions. Celebrities must be on the lookout for their wardrobes. Modest dress is a trend that some celebrities are embracing in light of the trend. However, dress is a matter of self-expression and wild dress is a fun thing for many people.
