PS4 Vs. Xbox One Poll: 82 Percent Of Gamers Will Purchase The Playstation 4 Instead Of Microsoft’s Console, New Survey Reveals

82.1 percent of gamers will purchase the Playstation 4 and 17.9 percent will purchase Microsoft's Xbox One next-generation console, a survey posted by IGN reveals.

Another web-based poll that gathered over 75,000 votes and revealed that 75 percent of gamers prefer the Playstation 4 over the Xbox One, according to N4G.

The poll gathered information from votes posted in an online video game forum.

And another poll published by xboxonevspsfour.com reveals that 75.54 percent of gamers prefer Sony's Playstation 4 console while 23.46 percent prefer Microsoft's Xbox One.

Results from Strategy Analytics' latest survey indicate that 14.2 percent of consumers are "very or somewhat likely to buy a PS4 within the next twelve months." Comparatively, just 9.5 percent will buy an Xbox One, GameZone also reports.

"Our survey suggests that consumers believe the PS4 will win the early phase of the next generation console war," said Jia Wu, Director or Connected Home Devices, according to the survey.
