Singer John Park is calling fans to write the lyrics to his song.

John Park's agency Music Farm is offering fans a chance to write the Korean lyrics to one of his songs 'Sipping My Life' and not only that, but to actually get it officially published.

Last month John Park released his first album 'Inner Child' and has been active performing his title song 'Baby.'

'Sipping My Life' is a song that John Park both composed and wrote lyrics for, and the only song in the album with English lyrics. For the whole year and a half while he was preparing his album, John Park admitted that this song was the hardest to find lyrics that he really liked. As a result, he put the most time, effort, and recordings into this one song.

Because both the title song and 'Sipping My Life' received so much love and support from the fans, John Park decided to remake the song with Korean lyrics and to rerecord it. Furthermore, because this remake version with Korean words would be written by a fan and not a professional lyricist, it is quickly becoming a hot topic.

The agency announced that for one lucky final winner, he or she would have the lyric rights to this song, and consequently would be able to debut as a songwriter. The winner will be announced on the 19^th of this month. Contest details will be released through the music website Melon at noon on August 2.
