Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Update Arriving To Samsung Galaxy Note 2; Skipping v4.2.2 Firmware

Owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 should be delighted as some good news recently came up - there will be a new software update coming soon, the recently released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

The delay of the software upgrade, specifically the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean solicited a lot of frustrations to Samsung Galaxy Note 2 owners. However, better news came when Telstra, an Australian carrier confirmed that phablet will be skipping the 4.2 update and it will just go right away with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean was launched on July 24, during a Google press event. Most probably, the version 4.3 firmware will be the last Jelly Bean update to be released by Google before Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie arrives.

There is no confirmation yet as to when the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will roll out but still, this news is a huge development for Android users who are already frustrated and anxiously waiting for a firmware update.

Even though there is no official statement yet from Samsung about the official release of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update , a lot of experts think that skipping the 4.2 upgrade would make a lot of sense, since, as International Business Times posted, "it will bring most of the high end Samsung devices at par with the Nexus range of devices which being a Google product was the first to receive the Android 4.3 updates."

Nexus devices such as Nexus 4, 7, 10 are the first ones to receive the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. And reported, HTC One, together with Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will catch the official firmware update very soon.

Some of the new features to notice once the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update has been installed are multi-user mode, Bluetooth Smart, improved accessibility settings and more.
