Sarah Hyland Twitter Says `Modern Family’ Enrolls Her at `Vampire Academy’; Promises to be a Bloody Valentine

Sarah Hyland took to Twitter to gush about “Modern Family” and her new role as a sexy young(?) bloodsucker in the upcoming movie adaptation of Richelle Mead’s young adult novel, “Vampire Academy.”
Sarah Hyland will play Natalie Dashkov in "Vampire Academy." The eldest daughter on “Modern Family” has been taking on some new, grown-up roles as well as producing a micro-budgeted indie film. Sarah Hyland also recently joined the cast of the History Channel’s “Bonnie and Clyde.”

Sarah Hyland will play the daughter of one of the school’s leaders in “Vampire Academy,” which is being produced by Weinstein Films. The new movie will tell the story about two friends who enroll at a strict vampire school. The producers say the young vampires “battle the mysterious forces of the evil Moroi who are set on destroying the Princess’s bloodline.” The sanguine project cast a bevvy of young stars, including Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry, and Danila Kozlovsky.
Sarah Hyland’s Twitter feeds dropped some news about the upcoming role after she returned from appearing at the premiere of the new movie “Lovelace” in Los Angeles on Monday.

“Had an amazon table read for #modernfamily this afternoon and found out that the teaser trailer for #VampireAcademy comes out this month!”
Sarah Hyland was stylish in black at the “Lovelace” premiere. She apparently loved the movie, which stars Amanda Seyfried as porn star Linda Lovelace, who starred in the crossover hit adult film "Deep Throat."
Sarah Hyland tweeted, “Just left the #LoveLace premiere and I have to say that it is the best film I’ve seen all year!” Hyland tweeted. “Thanks for inviting me @WeinsteinFilms!”
Sarah Hyland will also star and produce the indie comedy “See You in Valhalla,” which will also feature Steve Howey, Bret Harrison, Michael Weston, Jake McDorman, Alex Frost, Odeya Rush, Emma Bell, Allie Gonino, Beau Mirchoff and Conor O'Farrell.
“See You in Valhalla” will star Hyland as Jo Burwood, a young woman who reunites with her family after the death of her brother. The film will be produced by Tarnol Group Pictures with a screen play by Brent A. Tarnol. It will be directed by Jarret Tarnol.
“Vampire Academy” will open on Valentine’s Day 2014.
