As iPad 5 release date nears, there's a new batch of photos depicting the thinner bezels of the upcoming Apple tablet.

 Speculations about iPad 5 release date set the device for a September launch, making Apple fans clamor for new information about the forthcoming tablet. As the Cupertino-based tech firm is yet to announce the official iPad 5 release date, more and more rumors about the device pop up in the tech universe.

For instance, a recent report from International Business Times showed the alleged leaked images of alleged iPad 5's digitizer, revealing few specifications of the soon-to be revealed flagship tablet device.

The new sets of photos which intensified iPad 5 release date and specs rumors came from an Australian repair company, Macfixit. Accordingly, the company has claimed that they have acquired a front panel and digitizer of the iPad 5 and put it on sale on their site for $200.

The product description of the purported iPad 5 component as reported by IB Times reads "So it looks like we've got a preview of the replacement screen for the iPad 5 which is not even out yet!"

The photos of the supposed iPad 5 part show thinner side bezels and a "pair of flex cables along the long edges of the panel that end in connectors around the same position," similar to what it currently in the fourth generation of iPad 4.

Furthermore, according to Macfixit suppliers, below are some of the features of the iPad 5 screen/digitizer:

• The display area is the same as the iPad Retina.
• The edges of the frame are narrower using the same style as the iPad mini.
• The ITO (Indium tin oxide) is the same as the iPad mini.
• There are now 2 connectors instead of 1.
• The connectors have been changed from FFC (Flat Flexible Cable, like the iPad 2/3/4) to FPC (Flexible Printed Circuits, like the iPhone 4/5).

However, the page says that the product is currently "out of stock."

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities believed that iPad 5 release date will be set for September, and this new 9.7 inch-tablet will be the "highlight of iPad in 2013."

Apple fans can expect more iPad 5 release date reports that will definitely join the rumor stream in the coming weeks and months.
