Young stars such as Selena Gomez, One Direction, Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Ashton Kutcher, and Liam Hemsworth are set to appear at the event, GossipCop.com reports.

"I owe Darren a lot of things because he's the reason I have the hosting gig because he suggested me," Hale said on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, when asked about hosting the show, IB Times reports.

"They wanted me to have a female counterpart and I thought of Lucy, and I jumped at the chance to have her co-host with me," Criss added.

The red carpet arrivals and live stream of the show can be watched online here: http://www.teenchoiceawards.com/

The show can also be watched on television on Fox.

The TCAs are unique because the awards are based on the votes and choices of the fans, who vote on the Teen Choice Awards website.

IB Times reports that for live updates on the award ceremony, fans can keep an eye on the Facebook page, and Twitter updates can be followed on @TeenChoiceGirl. Viewers can also share their favorite moments with #TeenChoice and #TCA2013.

Selena Gomez is nominated for six awards and will be presenting some awards, HollywoodLife.com reports. Justin Bieber, her ex-boyfriend, is nominated for four awards. Will they confront each other at the Awards show?

"Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is nominated for nine awards, and everyone is wondering if there will be an awkward reunion between exes Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who reportedly had an encounter last weekend at her home in LA.

One Direction and Demi Lovato are set to perform, and celebrities like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, and Nina Dobrev from "The Vampire Diaries" will all be handing out surfboards to award winners, according to HollywoodLife.com.

The TCAs will take place at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles at 6:15 p.m. ET, and the show starts at 8 p.m.
