Kang Hye Jung Leaving YG and Joining CJ Entertainment

Actress Kang Hye Jung signed an exclusive contract with CJ Entertainment.

CJ Entertainment said, 'We signed an exclusive contract with Kang Hye Jung, who has received a lot of love for her exceptional acting in 'Old Boy' and 'Welcome to Dongmakgol. As much as she is an amazing lead actress, we want to help her continue starring in great movies with lead roles.'

Kang Hye Jung first proved herself to viewers in 1998 in the well-known drama 'Eun Shil,' and has continued wow-ing the audience with her acting in 'Old Boy,' 'Welcome to Dongmakgol,' and 'The Purpose of Love,' and she has been widely acknowledged for her talent.

 Kang Hye Jung has won multiple awards, including Best Leading Actress for her debut movie 'Butterfly' in 2001 at the 5th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, Best Supporting Actress in the 24th Blue Dragon Film Awards, Best Supporting Actress in the 43rd Daejong Film Festival, Best Supporting Actress in the 4th Republic of Korea Film Awards, and Best Supporting Actress in the 26th Blue Dragon Film Awards.

CJ Entertainment said, 'Kang Hye Jung is like a gem. As an actress who is actively engaged in her work, Kang Hye Jung will bring good news to the film industry.'
