On August 12 newlyweds Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung went on their honeymoon to Maldives.

On August 12 Lee Min Jung's agency MS Team Entertainment said, 'Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun are leaving tonight for their honeymoon in Maldives. They will spend about ten days there, and when they come back they will be returning to their work.'

The newlyweds picked out their own honeymoon destination in Maldives. Out of the numerous honeymoon spots, they chose Maldives because they thought it would be the most suitable place to rest. They will be going alone on this trip, without any other companions. Some celebrities travel with a photographer on their honeymoon to have a photo shoot on their vacation, but just like the couple decided to have a non-sponsored wedding, they decided to forego any companions on this trip as well.

When they return from their honeymoon, the two will both be resuming their activities. Lee Byung Hun will be busy filming 'Female Warrior: Memories of the Sword,' and Lee Min Jung will pick her next project and start working on it right away. A rep said, 'When she returns, Lee Min Jung will catch up on her ads and signing events, then choose her next project and resume work.'

On August 10 the couple held their wedding at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul as a private event. Actor Shin Young Gyun officiated the ceremony, and Lee Bum Soo and Shin Dong Yup were MCs for the event.  Park Jung Hyun, Dynamic Duo, Park Sunjoo, and Kim Bum Soo sang congratulatory nuptial songs at the wedding.

Many top stars came to the wedding to help celebrate the couple, including Jang Dong Gun - Ko So Young, Yeon Jung Hoon - Han Ga In, Kwon Sang Woo - Son Tae Young, Jung Joon Ho - Lee Ha Jung, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Tae Hee, Choi Ji Woo, Jung Woo Sung, So Ji Sub, Song Seung Hun, Shin Hyun Joon, Han Hyo Joo, and Go Ah Ra, among many others.
