Carrie Underwood Will See You Again at the CMA Awards; Sixth Time Hosting With Brad Paisley; Also Hosted Good Morning America; New Career?

Carrie Underwood, “Will See You Again” singer, will do just that as she takes on hosting duties with Brad Paisley at the 47th annual CMA Awards on Nov. 6. Carrie Underwood will see you again at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. This will be the sixth time straight that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley have hosted CMA Awards. Carrie Underwood also recently co-hosted “Good Morning America.” By all reports she did so well she could have a second career.

Little Big Town, one of the other stars of the CMA Awards, enthusiastically told viewers on Monday night's broadcast of CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock that Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will make their sixth consecutive co-hosting appearance at "Country Music's Biggest Night."

Carrie Underwood showed that she is a natural TV news anchor when she co-hosted Good “Morning America” on Monday. That should surprise no one. Carrie Underwood was a mass communications major with an emphasis in journalism at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. Carrie Underwood graduated in 2006.

Hosting or news casting, Carrie Underwood is a pro. In a press release, the president of the CMA board of directors, Ed Hardy said, "Carrie and Brad are the consummate hosts. They have the respect of our industry, artistic credibility, critical acclaim and a quick-witted, genuine rapport that makes them popular with our audience and the viewers at home. We are delighted to have them back as hosts for the sixth year."

Underwood and Paisley will duet in song and jokes. Carrie Underwood has gotten five CMA Awards and Brad Paisley won 14 so far. Country Music fans will catch three hours of music and awards. Nominations will be revealed in September. The 47th annual Country Music Awards will airing Nov. 6, live in Nashville on ABC.
