In the video, the glowing orb could be assumed to be the moon, however, UFO Sightings Daily found Scott Waring says that this claim is false.
"This glowing orb is not the moon. I saw the moon last night and it's only a long splinter and won't be a full moon for a while. This orb does begin to move and drops down into the clouds to hide."
This particular sighting, which took place on August 12, has since been identified by several residents in the Derby area.
"I'm so glad that you had posted this! Last night I had seen this exact light (UFO)...we had meteor showers but this came about 10:30 pm. I navigate the sky, so I knew it was unusual," writes abyssdnb on YouTube.
"There were two lights together, one that was exactly bright as the one on this vid and the other (UFO) was a little less brighter. As soon as I looked out of my window, the bright UFO hovered upwards, and the little light UFO hovered down, then the bright light UFO had gone over my house..."
Upon further research, it appears this glowing orb UFO has been sighted multiples times in Derby, and it remains unexplained.
These sightings have been recorded in several other videos, including the ones below.
