On Twitter, a "Legend of Korra" news account has been provided with a photo showing the TV app TV Genie showing the Book 2 release date as September 7.

This release date is earlier than many "Legend of Korra" fans anticipated, and many, upon seeing this rumor, are still skeptical.

However, a second source from the online TV guide TV Calender, is also reporting "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 release date as September 7, adding credence to the claim.

In addition, an Australian TV guide is listing the Book 2 premiere of "Rebel Spirit" as September 7 as well.

In total, as reported by The Legend of Korra Online, four different sources are using this release date.

And while this remains speculation, it seems fans of "The Legend of Korra" won't have to wait much longer for an official confirmation.

According to the official Nickelodeon Twitter account, the network has hinted that an announcement for "The Legend of Korra" Book 2 release date will be announced this week.

After researching, we can see "The Last Airbender" movie as being listed to air this Thursday at 7 p.m. Out of all the TV listing for Nickelodeon, this is definitely the most logical place to make any sort of "Korra" announcement.
