"The Vampire Diaries" season 5 will feature Bonnie as a ghost, who can only talk to one person: Jeremy Gilbert. Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie, recently talked to The Hollywood Reporter about some spoilers for the next season of "Vampire Diaries." Will Bonnie come back to life?

The season 4 finale of the CW series ended with Elena's best friend, Bonnie, sacrificing her own life to resurrect Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) from the dead.

Now, "the only person that can see her is Jeremy because he can see dead people," Graham said.

Graham dished that this would create a deeper relationship between Bonnie and Jeremy.

"She loves her friends and family and she can't connect to them, and it creates an intimacy relying on one person as your connection to the one thing that matters the most to you," Graham said. "It's a really beautiful thing to see. She only has him (Jeremy) at this point."

Graham also mentioned that season 5 would explore "the other side" more, with Bonnie stuck there for the time being.

"That's something new for the fans. They'll be able to see that side that hasn't been explored yet," she added.

But will Bonnie be stuck on the other side forever? Or will she find a way to come back to the side of the living?

"When you have to be alone because you don't have a choice, it can affect your subconscious," Graham hinted, "and it's going to be very interesting to see if that at all affects the character - and if she even comes back from the dead, how she will be when she returns."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Graham didn't want to give away anymore clues. But she did add that she doesn't mind whether or not her character joins the living.

"I'm actually fine with it either way," Graham said. "As long as the character story lines are interesting and there's something more for me to bring, I'm always up for a challenge."

We might just have to wait until "The Vampire Diaries" returns October 3 on The CW.
