Big Bang has made a big impact on K-Pop since their debut seven years ago.

Together, the five members have released multiple chart-topping albums and hit singles. They have held sold out concert tours around the world. They have been cited as fashion icons. They have inspired their music industry juniors. In short, Big Bang has set the bar pretty darn high.

In 2009, when they were celebrating three years since their debut, the Korea Times called Big Bang "the icons of Korean pop" - a distinction that still holds true today.

Each of the group members has their own original style and strength - eccentric composer frontman G-Dragon, husky-voiced and stoic TOP, chiseled and soulful Taeyang, playful crooner Daesung, and business-minded youngster Seungri.

Big Bang's musical undertakings are equally varied and the group has covered everything from hip-hop and R&B to electro-pop and house music.

Their sound and appearance are constantly evolving with the times and they are one of the rare pop groups not afraid to break out of the mold and try something new, no matter how bizarre it may be.

From "We Belong Together" to "Haru Haru" to "Fantastic Baby" - from Seoul to New York to Tokyo - the depth of Big Bang's influence and power is unmatched.

Their record label, YG Entertainment, released a commemorative poster to celebrate the group's seventh anniversary since their debut.

Youngest member Seungri also added the image to his Facebook page on August 19 and left a message for fans to celebrate the momentous occasion.

"Today is Big Bang's 7th debut anniversary," he wrote. "For seven years, there were a lot of things that we went through, but those are what made who we are today. I couldn't sleep without showing thanks to all of our fans for being with us and how I love you."

He finished up the message by sharing the thoughts of the rest of his Big Bang group members.

"Before I wrote this, I talked to our members on the phone and we shared our celebration together.... On behalf of Big Bang and as the youngest member, I wanted to tell you about how we feel. Today will be a very meaningful release day for my new songs."

Seungri released his mini-album Let's Talk About Love on August 19 in conjunction with Big Bang's anniversary.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon and Taeyang are preparing to make their long-awaited solo comebacks very soon and Daesung is currently making huge waves in Japan with his solo debut in the country.
