'The Famous Jett Jackson' and 'Rizzoli & Isles' Star Lee Thompson Young Died From Alleged Suicide; Celebrities React Via Twitter
Hollywood is left in turmoil after news spread that Lee Thompson Young, the actor known for starring in "The Famous Jett Jackson" and "Rizzoli & Isles," died in an alleged suicide attempt.
Celebrities took to Twitter to share their shocking reactions and memories of the late 29-year-old former Disney hunk that stole the hearts of many.
Gabrielle Union recalled working with Young in the past and gave her condolences to his family.
"I had the pleasure of working w/ #LeeThompsonYoung on Flash Forward & he was an extremely talented beautiful soul," tweeted the "Bring It On" starlet. "My thoughts & prayers are with his loved ones. #RIP."

"Stomp The Yard" actor Columbus Short also voiced his grief and disappointment. He divulged that he and Young were working on a movie before the tragedy. "My heart is broken today. RIP to my dear friend and brother Lee Thompson Young," said Short. "Writing/ Friend/ Brother. #HeartAche...I'm going to make sure the world sees and knows what an amazing writer and visionary Lee Young was. I'm going to make our movie #NoMatterWhat."

Even popular horror director Wes Craven, who worked with Young on "Hills Have Eyes 2," had nothing but kind words to say about the deceased.
"My sympathy to the family of Le Thompson Young and to all those who knew and loved him," tweeted Craven. "I had the pleasure of working with him in 2007 on Hills Have Eyes 2. He was a pro, gifted and warm. The tragedy of this kind of loss is particularly bewildering and painful."

Young's body was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his Northern Hollywood home Monday morning.
