What do Big Bang's Seungri and Wonder Girls Sunmi have in common?

In 2007 popular music groups Wonder Girls and Big Bang announced their hit songs "Tell Me" and "Lies," respectively. At the time, Wonder Girls was just a rookie, and Big Bang was only its second year.

Fast forward six years to 2013, and the two youngest members of the groups are now in their 20s, and are actively working on their respective solo careers. These two members are Big Bang's Seungri and Wonder Girls' Sunmi.

Seungri's Second Solo Album Release

Seungri, who debuted in August 2008 as Big Bang's youngest member (at the time only 17 years of age), has grown into a young man in his mid-20s. He started his first solo activity with Big Bang's Remember song "Strong Baby" in 2009. Two years later, he released his first mini album V.V.I.P in January of 2011, showing off an upgraded image.

Although other members of Big Bang, leader G-Dragon and main vocalist Taeyang, each released their own solo albums, Seungri stayed true to his own color and has been pursuing music ever since. For his latest album Let's Talk About Love, which was released on August 19, Seungri composed, wrote, and produced all the songs. Seungri is not only a singer, but now a musician as well.

As a K-pop idol group member of Big Bang that performs on stages worldwide, 24 year old Seungri gives fans a lot to look forward to with his personal music.

Sunmi Starts Over with Her Comeback in 3 Years and 7 Months

Sunmi, who decided to forgo her Wonder Girls activities to pursue her education 3 years 7 months ago, is planning to have a comeback to the music industry on August 26 with the song "24 Hours." At the time of her debut with Wonder Girls in February of 2007, 16 year old 9th grader Sunmi was the youngest member of the group, along with Sohee.

Wonder Girls released multiple hits - "Tell Me" in 2007, and "So Hot" and "Nobody" in 2008. In 2009 they entered the American music industry. During this time, Sunmi decided to withdraw from Wonder Girls and spend her time studying in Korea as a college student. Even while pursuing her study, Sunmi continued to practice singing and dancing, dreaming of the day when she would come back to the stage.

That's why in 2003, 23 year old Sunmi decided to come back with the new song "24 Hours" based on her own desires and mentor Park Jin Young's proposal. No longer just a cute and lively teen girl, Sunmi has transformed into a woman in her 20s. Fans are eager to see what kind of music and image Sunmi will bring with her comeback. They also look forward to her music video and first solo album song, and how high it will rise on the music charts.

August of 2013 is a time when one can look forward to Korea's idol groups Big Bang and Wonder Girls' youngest solo members Seungri and Sunmi and their comebacks.
