Pokemon X And Y English Demo Shows Updated Battle Dialogue [VIDEO]: Nintendo To Release X And Y 3DS XL Bundles At $199

As Pokemon X and Y loom ever closer to their October 12 release date, the first glimpse of an English demo has appeared at this year's Gamescom, along with some interesting tidbits about the upcoming Nintendo 3DS titles.

In the video below, you can see (and hear) the Pokemon X and Y English demo, and one thing fans immediately picked up on is the dialogue during battle gameplay is quite different.

"Go on Chespin. I know you can do it!" says the hero in the X and Y demo.

"Chespin is in a bit of a pinch. It looks like it might cry..."

This type of dialogue, as noted by Pokejungle, is a lot more personal in tone and heightens the bond between the player and the Pokemon in battle.

One reason why this might be is the addition of Pokemon Amie, where X and Y attempts to create one-on-one interactions with individual Pokemon.

So although the demo is exactly the same as the one shown at Pokemon Game Show in Japan, the English translation is still illuminating. Note that the demo is also available in English, Spanish, French, and German.

In addition, Nintendo is looking like it will release 3DS XL bundles with Pokemon X and Y sometime this fall for the U.S.

According to IGN, this has been confirmed by an anonymous source through Target, and the Pokemon X and Y 3DS XL bundles will presumably be priced at $199 with either of the two titles.

So far, an official release date has not been confirmed by Nintendo, but it looks to be a good purchase for fans looking to upgrade their 3DS and Pokemon X and Y.
