Now that 2013 Fall TV season is already on the horizon, a lot of fans of the hit CBS comedy series are already on the lookout for "The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 SPOILERS.

One of the newest "The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 spoilers hints that Penny and Sheldon will get closer in the forthcoming season because Leonard, played by Johnny Galecki, is out in an expedition to North Sea. 

During the finale of Season 6, it can be remembered that Leonard left to be in a scientific expedition in the North Sea together with the team of Stephen Hawking.

Revealing some "The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 spoilers, Steve Molaro shared to The Hollywood Reporter, "You will see that Penny and Sheldon are both missing Leonard and are spending some quality time together and getting closer than ever -- which I love."

 As much as these The Big Bang Theory Season 7 spoilers excite fans, Fashion & Style posted, "There has been talk of a romance between Penny and Sheldon, but that's something we may not see this season."

Showrunner, Molaro, while talking about possible romance between Sheldon and Penny on The Big Bang Theory Season 7, said, "Probably not. But I love that people root for that. I love the Penny-Sheldon relationship as much as I love anything on this show. I think her love for him is very real, as is Kaley and Jim's relationship in real life. I think that translates. She is like the big sister who is taking care of him -- or sort of a mother figure."

Fans will most definitely wonder how Amy (Mayim Bialik) will feel about Sheldon and Penny as the two get much more closer while Leonard is away. But Molaro explained, "We don't hit that too hard. I don't think Amy sees Penny as a threat. She loves Penny."

Sharing more "The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 spoilers, the producer revealed, "Besides, Amy has plans of her own with Bernadette [Melissa Rauch]. We will see the two have a ladies' night, which will be the "first time they hang out without Penny, ever."
