Though Google has not yet been announcing an official manufacturer for its upcoming in-house smartphone, Nexus 5 release date is already set for October.
Rumors about Nexus 5 release date suggest that the Android smartphone may arrive this fall 2013, more particularly at some point in October. Moreover, there were also rumors that emerged online indicating the possibility for Nexus 5 release date to happen on November 28, Thanksgiving Day.
Since Nexus 5 release date will most likely happen this fall, as reported by International Business Times, there are experts who are not ignoring the possibility that the smart phone device may also arrive on Thanksgiving.
Meanwhile, a rendered Nexus 5 was released online ahead of its rumored release date in October 2013. On a separate report from IB Times, the render was described, showing off a "seamless fusion of glass on the front-face and of metal that wraps its back and overlaps on the handset's edge."
The concept for the rendered image of the Nexus 5 was created by an unknown member from DeviantArt, as cited by Tekrieg. It design of the smartphone exudes with its phone screen, made of Corning Glass 3, combining seamlessly with the body made of aluminum material. This created an illusion that the Nexus 5 is "fashioned out from a single material."
Motorola Mobility is highly rumored to be manufacturer of the Nexus 5, despite rumors that LG will be the one to produce it, since it created the smartphone's successor, the Nexus 4. Allegedly, Motorola has been hired by Google to produce the Nexus 5. Motorola Mobility is now a subsidiary of Google, after it was acquired by the internet giant last year.
Nexus 5 specs may include 8-core processor, 2.3 Ghz, 3 GB or LPDDR3 RAM, 13 MP camera and a 5-inch FHD screen display.
Expect more Nexus 5 release date rumors to pop online as fall 2013 becomes imminent.
