Furthermore, ROM for the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update also introduces a number of feature improvements and bug-fixes over the previous firmware build, which can enhance the performance of the system.

If you are interested to install Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to your Samsung Galaxy S3 using the unofficial ROM, the ParanoidAndroid v3.97, make sure to take extra precautions during the installation process. Carefully follow the step-by-step guide posted on International Business Times. Download links are also available on the post.

However, before you go ahead with the actual installation process, there are pre-requisites first that need to be taken care of. One, make sure that you are holding the international version of Samsung Galaxy S3 with model number GT-I9300. Go TO Setting>About Phone to verify the model number.

Two, use CWM or TWRP to create backup of data and settings stored on your Samsung Galaxy S3, as these are two of the highly recommended custom recovery tools. These tools create a complete image of the entire setup of the device.

Three, correct USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy S3 should be installed on the PC so the device will connect properly during the installation process.

Four, enable USB Debugging mode on your Samsung Galaxy S3. The battery level should be at least 80 percent before installing the ROM for Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.
