50 Shades of Grey movie cast might very well be confirmed on Labor Day this Monday. This is according to the producer of the film himself, Dana Brunetti.

With all the rumors of who would play Ana Steele and Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the 50 Shades of Grey book and its success, the time to find out who could play these main roles in the movie could finally come true.

Producer Dana Brunetti confirmed on Northwest Prime radio that the 50 Shades of Grey movie is still on for an August 1, 2014 release date, and the casting is in full swing for just that. He said this and more while on with Lori and Michele on Northwest Prime radio last week.

This is a list of the rumored actors to sport the role of the billionaire S&M man in Christian Grey: Ian Somerhalder, Alex Pettyfer, Stephen Amell, Matt Bomer, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Phillippe, Alexander Skarsgard, Henry Cavill, Chris Evans, Tom Hardy, Chris Pine, Garrett Hedlund, Charlie Hunnam.

For the role of Ana Steele, here is a list of the rumored actresses throughout the past year: Mila Kunis, Lily Collins, Nina Dobrev, Alexis Bledel, Shailene Woodley, Lucy Hale, Minka Kelly, Allison Williams, Emma Watson, Ashley Benson, Emilia Clarke, Riley Keough, Dakota Johnson.

Brunetti noted during the interview that fans will be disappointed in their choice. He said each fan has a different image of Grey and Steele when they read the book. With all the rumored names, he said that they have to find that chemistry that will bring out the characters from the book into the 50 Shades of Grey movie.

He said they need to do chemistry testing between the two lead roles before they make an offer, which he said is expected to be done by Labor Day.
