Kindle Fire HD 2 Release Date On Sept. 2013 [VIDEO]; Specs For Tablet Include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor, Wi-fi And 3G Connectivity, 8MP Rear Camera, Full HD Experience

The potential rivals of Amazon's latest release will be Google's Nexus 7 and Apple's iPad mini. It will be beneficial should Amazon release a new version of the Kindle Paperwhite e-reader, that was released last September 2012 which featured a new illuminated screen.

The current Amazon Kindle Fire HD matches the nexus 7 in price and hardware and unquestionably trumps over the iPad mini in its price and monitor resolution.

Kindles are earning the top spot according to a study last April 2013, new Kindle owners are not only purchasing more books, they are even getting printed versions of the books they downloaded. In UK 8 million people owns a kindle, and 22% of total tablet sales in the US is attributed to the Kindle Fire.

The Kindle Fire HD 2 is expected to be released on September 2013, just in time for the holidays.

The price of the Kindle Fire HD 2 is just USD199 and offers a 7-inch HD display and a 1.2Ghz dual-core CPU. At this price point it ensures value for money of its owners.

If you are still hesitant to purchase the Kindle Fire HD 2, its Qualcomm quad core Snapdragon 800 processor, should be enough to give you the push and finally purchase Amazon's latest tablet with an added Adreno 330 graphics chip. The basis of its processor is ARM's Cortex-A9 structure that has been outmoded by Cortex-A15.

The RAM of the Kindle Fire HD 2 is boosted from a 1GB to a 2GB, giving the Nexus 7 a run for its value. The new Kindle Fire HD 2 will be available in the following variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

The new Kindle Fire HD is expected to raise the bar higher with a 7-inch version that will include a 1920x1200 display and the 8.9 inches with a 2560x1600, ensuring a full HD experience.
