‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Casting Spoilers: Daario Naharis Recast, Michiel Huisman Snags Role To Play Daenerys Targaryen Love Interest?

"Game of Thrones" season 4 is switching up its cast. A new spoiler was announced that the role of Daario Naharis, who is the leader of a band of mercenaries and a love interest for Emilia Clarke's character Daenerys Targaryen, will be recast. Michiel Huisman, whose role was previously regarded a mystery, will play Daario Naharis in season 4.

Huisman will be replacing actor Ed Skrein as Daario Naharis, IB Times reports. Huisman's casting was first announced after his personal trainer posted a photo of him lifting weights to prepare for the role on Instagram, the website notes. However, the picture has since been taken down.

It has not been announced why Skrein will no longer play Daario Naharis, but the casting choice for his character was met with mixed reviews from fans of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire."

However, IB Times reports that this was mostly due to costume changes from the books than Skrein's acting skills. For example, Daario first appears in "A Storm of Swords" with his hair and beard dyed blue and gold.

It is important to note that HBO has not confirmed that Michiel Huisman is playing Daario Naharis, but various media sources have reported this.

Last week, WinterIsComing.net reported another recasting: King Joffrey's little brother Tommen Baratheon was being recast by the slightly older Dean-Charles Chapman in "Game of Thrones" season 4.
