MBC's "We Got Married" is going through a makeover, and will be inviting a few new couples to the show. Who will they be?

Couples Jo Jung Chi - Jung In and Jung Jinwoon - Go Joon Hee will be wrapping up their virtual marriage on the show with this new makeover. And so one can only ask: Who will the new couples be? The existing couple Taemin and Son Naeun will remain on the show. And although it hasn't been decided exactly how many new couples will be invited to the show, there will be at the very least 1 new couple, maybe even 2.

So... Which couples should "We Got Married" recruit to give the show a boost in viewership? Here are 3 couples that might re-stimulate the love stories and excitement on the show. We think these 3 couples are realistic contenders that will make the show a big hit.

Lee Hyori - Lee Sang Soon, the "real" couple's married life on Jeju Island

When we consider that the current trend for entertainment is being "real," then we can safely assume that "real" and authentic controversies are vital to the show's success. That's because "We Got Married" is a virtual variety program that stimulates fantasies. This is also the very reason why when one of the cast members are caught up in a different relationship rumor, the show suffers consequences.

So the staff decided to invite an actual couple onto the show so as to give the audience what they want - a real and authentic couple.  Earlier this year, the staff decided to say goodbye to Lee Joon - Oh Yeon Seo and invited an actual couple, Jo Jung Chi and Jung In.

So then the logical choice would be to choose Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon to bring some reality into this virtual variety show. If "We Got Married" were to cast this couple after their wedding, the viewers would be able to see their newlywed life, thereby introducing some reality into the show and making it more entertaining.

Seo In Guk - Jung Eunji, respond to the fans' requests!

Another potential couple for the show is tvN "Reply 1997" couple Seo In Guk and A Pink's Jung Eunji. Not only do they already have a fandom, the couple would be extremely popular with the younger audience members of the show. If they were to actually get cast, this couple would quickly rise to become the most popular couple on the show.

The two have already displayed great teamwork in another drama so it would be an easy transition. If they were to become a virtual married couple on "We Got Married," we expect there to be various entertaining episodes for the two.

If the "We Got Married" staff were to listen to the fans, then they would most definitely try to recruit this couple. In this case listening to the fans seems like a great idea. You can never go wrong by giving the viewers what they want to see.

Kim Kwang Kyu - Kim Wan Sun, now they can live together

Bachelor Kim Kwang Kyu, who currently stars on MBC's "I Live Alone," shows off his unexpected charm on the show. So... what if he didn't have to live alone anymore? Although currently it is a show that predominantly features young idols and actors, "We Got Married" could bring a new twist by inviting Kim Kwang Kyu and Kim Wan Sun as cast members.

Kim Kwang Kyu has revealed on various programs such as "Radio Star" and "I Live Alone" that he would like to work with singer Kim Wan Sun as a couple on screen. Although there is the danger of Kim Kwang Kyu being disappointed if Kim Wan Sun rejects the role, if the staff were to actively persuade and succeed in recruiting the two, they would be doing Kim Kwang Kyu and favor and making his dream come true.

Since the two are older, they would be able to display a side to virtual marriage that young idols or actors cannot. Also, it would be interesting to see how these two seemingly opposite characters could become a couple. What will the bachelor Kim Kwang Kyu be like when we lives with another person?
