Super Junior Heechul Out Of The Military But Still Battling Crazy Fans

Super Junior's Heechul has been very active on social media since being discharged from the military last week with many posts on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

While many updates have been fun and happy, the latest photo has a very serious tone.

Heechul, like many other K-Pop idols, is once again faced with the issue of incredibly overzealous fans.

The Super Junior singer added a cartoon to his Instagram account on September 2 that shows a very annoyed looking guy who is saying, "I'm going to cut off your wrists!"

Heechul's caption leads on to his frustration and reads, "I still have sasaengs who stick around... I'm feeling really good lately, but I don't know if I should just be cool about it or make a fuss... I think I got too nice..."

Sasaeng, or 'private life fans' are an extreme breed of fans whose behavior boarders on stalking and can be very disruptive to the lives of Korean celebrities.

Heechul and his Super Junior group mates are not the only ones to come under attack from such fans and the results can sometimes be very devastating or dangerous.

Recently the issue of sasaeng fans has been a hot topic for Heechul's label-mates EXO who are repeatedly chased, spied on, grabbed at, and worse from their extreme fans. So much so that the entire fandom has been banned from the Inkigayo studio due to their dangerous behavior.

We can only hope that Heechul's fans are just excited to have him back after completing his mandatory military service and that all this negative behavior will quiet down soon.

In the meantime, however, fans should think seriously about their actions when encountering their favorite celebrities and take Heechul's cartoon to heart - he appears to be suggesting that he does not appreciate being grabbed or pawed at by his supporters.
